This weekend, Downtown Bangor gets merry! First, University of Maine Museum of Art is hosting WINTER ART FACTORY from 11am-3pm, where you can make ornaments, wrapping paper, and other seasonal projects -- and best of all, it's free!
Ol' Kris Kringle himself is taking time from his busy schedule to put in some facetime on Main Street. Find him at 58 Main, to be exact, from 1-4pm as part of Santa Claus Is Coming to (Down)Town! -- a one-day-only event where you can hand your Christmas list to Little Saint Nick in person, snap a photo, and even decorate your own cookie.
Starting at 3:20pm in West Market Square, the Bangor Band will perform a concert full of festive holiday music!
THEN! The Festival of Lights 2016 parade kicks off at 4:30pm and will travel the length of Downtown from Harlow > Central > Main and conclude near Davenport Park. Immediately following the parade, hang around for the lighting of that wicked big tree in West Market Square.
