November 13, 2015, 4:00pm - November 13, 2015, 7:00pm
This Friday the 13th, join us for the final Artwalk of 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM in Downtown Bangor.
All are invited to participate in this Artwalk’s community mural, “Color the Season” taking place at COESPACE throughout the evening. Musical group Divisi will once again be performing Downtown. Use the map to navigate and visit open studios, including those gems off the beaten path.
The featured poster artist for this Artwalk is Anne Dubois. Dubois uses thick swaths of oil paint and then tears, scratches, and scrapes new worlds into being. She states, “Each painting is a new world, a new idea, and a new space to explore.” Visit her studio on Friday located at 27 State Street.
Downloadable versions of the Artwalk map and additional information can be found online at www.dbac.org. Maps will also be available at several Downtown Bangor locations including; University of Maine Museum of Art, Bagel Central, Verve, Giacomo's, Mexicali Blues, and One Lupine Fiber Arts.
This will be the last Artwalk of 2015, so make sure that if you have not made it to an Artwalk this year, you try to make it to this one. Join us in celebrating the amazing artists that help make this event what it is. Without them there would be no Artwalk. Invite your family, your friends and bring your kids downtown, There is something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you all.
